The Critics' Choice Awards wasn't just the night for film stars as, like the Golden Globes, TV was honoured across the Drama, Comedy and Limited Series/TV Movie categories but like the Globes, it was pretty much the same winners all round.
'Big Little Lies' and 'The Handmaid's Tale' were the big winners of the night, with Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Alexander Skarsgard all taking home awards for their roles on the former, while Elisabeth Moss and Ann Dowd winning for 'The Handmaid's Tale'.
There were, however, some nice surprises, such as David Harbour winning Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role on 'Stranger Things', while Ted Danson took home the award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his criminally underrated work on 'The Good Place'.
Elsewhere, 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' repeated its Golden Globes run with wins for Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy Series, and Sterling K. Brown won once again for his work on 'This Is Us'.
