It's not Jodie Kidd. Or Dermot O'Leary. Or Zoe Ball. Or anyone else who'd been speculated upon. The May and Hammond of thew new Top Gear due to grace our screens next year are, wait for it, "German racing driver Sabine Schmitz and motoring journalist Chris Harris." OK, so we may not know them from yer man Adam, but at least they'll know what they're talking about...?

Amid rumours that Evans was gunning to host the show solo, he has instead opted for two unknowns. According to The Huffington Post: "Sabine did previously appear on ‘Top Gear’ in 2004, alongside Jeremy at Germany’s Nurburgring, while Chris Harris is known for his writing in various motoring magazines, and he has also fronted a YouTube series about cars."
Seemingly the trio will also be joined by racing car legend David Coulthard. Whether he's actually going to be The Stig or not is unclear.

The report goes on to state that this bombshell comes just a day after it emerged that the show's executive producer - who was also "handpicked" by Evans has decided to leave the show before it even goes to air. Lisa Clark said: "After an extremely busy five months I am moving on from Top Gear to new projects which I will be announcing in the new year. I’d like to wish production all the very best with the show."
Top Gear will hit our screens on Sunday May 8th.
