After the huge success of the first season, it's only right that BBC picked up 'Killing Eve' for a second season.
The news was announced earlier today, with shooting now underway in London, Amsterdam and Paris and Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer all set to return. The press release from BBC also confirms that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is due to stay on as executive producer, whilst Emerald Fennell is to take over as lead writer.
According to BBC's internal figures, some 26 million requests were placed on BBC iPlayer for the first season and was apparently a huge hit with women under 35, prompting BBC to bring the series back for another season. Plot details are, of course, light but the same tone and feel of the series is sure to be retained as things get weirder and more tense for the second season.
No air date has been confirmed as of yet, but it's expected to return at some stage in 2019.
