It's only a few days now until the world gets to see this much anticipated sort-of Friends reunion, as the castmates recently reunited at a special tribute show for TV director James Burrows. Well all of the cast bar one, Matthew Perry, who is in the UK at the moment with his new play.
It's been a long time since we've even seen five of them together however, and from the brief trailer we have seen of the show (which airs on February 21st on NBC) it looks like it will be worth the wait.
While you would think over the ten years of working together the cast would have went through how exactly they got their roles, it turns out though, they were apparently unaware that one of them had to audition twice for the part.
In an extended clip from the show, Lisa Kudrow said how she had to go read for the part again in front of James Burrows after her initial audition, as it emerged that the others simply met with the director.
Kudrow laughed it off though and thanked Burrows for eventually casting her... to which he gave an awkward smile.
It may have been due to the fact that Ellen DeGeneres was the producers first choice to play Phoebe Buffay, how different the show might have been...
Safe to say, it worked out alright for Ellen too though.
