It's been the greatest will they or won't they saga since Ross and Rachel.

Ever since the cast reunited for their hilarious pre election sketch, the question that's been constantly put to them is will they be doing a full revival? The cast have always said they were on board but that it was up to the network executives if it was going to happen

Former co-star Leslie Jordan let slip a month ago that NBC had ordered the revival but there had been no official word from NBC. Until now.

The network has officially announced that Will & Grace is officially getting a ten episode revival series to be aired during the 2017/2018 broadcast season.

“We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said. “This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary — all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture — is coming back where it belongs.”

Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes are all confirmed to return for the revival, as are the series' creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick to showrun it.

The original series ran for eight seasons and won sixteen Emmys during its win, including one each for the four main cast. NBC also released the below announcement trailer for the occasion.
