The first reactions for 'The Witcher' series are now online. Safe to say they've been very positive.
The Netflix show is based on the best-selling fantasy book and video game series of the same name. The series portrays the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent.
Henry Cavill leads, taking on the role of Geralt of Rivia. Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra co-star.
Those who got a chance to preview the show are singing the praises of its battle scenes. They've also complemented Cavill's performance and how easy it is to binge-watch.
Watching the screeners for @witchernetflix. I'll admit, as a huge fan of the books, I was a little worried, but @LHissrich has done a masterful job telling this story. It also helps that the cast is amazing! And Henry Cavill, just ... wow. #TheWitcher pic.twitter.com/xdFnYtRN4j

Plowed through the initial screeners for Netflix's THE WITCHER, and I've gotta say: I'm quite liking it! I'll have more to say about it when the embargo drops, but it's well-cast, smartly-structured, and nicely paced. Good, solid pulp-fantasy nonsense.

I have watched the first two episodes and I can say this :
- the best sword fighting scene I have ever seen.
- I have laughed and I have cried (twice already).
Don't be anxious, you have done a wonderful job. This show has a soul of its own. Can't wait to savour the rest.— Aymeric Parthonnaud (@P_Aymeric) November 25, 2019
Standout performers in Netflix's The Witcher S1 so far are Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. #TheWitcher #Netflix pic.twitter.com/TK578I0Cc0

I’m not allowed to say much about #TheWitcher until next month...but here’s my reaction of the first episode in a GIF @witchernetflix pic.twitter.com/jsAuMo7gAw

Some viewers are comparing it to 'Game of Thrones' saying the HBO fight choreography was rubbish in comparison.
Oh I will say this. The fight scenes in The Witcher make Game of Thrones fight scenes look like two drunks fighting outside a bar.
