Yet another exciting new series arrived on Netflix recently, from the genius mind who brought the world The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet - Baz Luhrmann.
In typical Luhrman style it's a music-driven drama, which will blend disco, punk and hip-hop to tell the story of a group of kids in New York in the late 1970s. The cast of the The Get Down includes Jaden Smith, Grandmaster Flash, Ramon Cruz and Shaolin Fantastic while it's produced by Sony Pictures Television for Netflix.
