'The End of the F***ing World' has been renewed for a second season by Netflix after a critically-acclaimed first season.
No official casting has been announced as of yet, however it's understood that the series will debut first on Channel 4 in the UK and Ireland before being released on Netflix worldwide. The first series followed James, played by 'The Imitation Game' star Alex Lowther, who believes he is a psychopath and has grown tired of killing animals, instead deciding that he'll kill Alyssa, played by 'Penny Dreadful' alum Jenny Barden.

The series was praised for its cinematography and music, as well as the performances from Lowther and Barden. The first season, however, did end on a pretty decisive note which leads people to wonder why a second season is even an option. Still, the first season's writer and showrunner, Charlie Covell, has been retained for the second season so at least there's that going for it.
No airdate has been confirmed as of yet.
