December is definitely a month where cosying up to your favourite TV show or movie is pretty much a prerequisite. As usual, Netflix can provide in this hour of need and have a whole load of great content arriving to the streaming service for the festive season.

TV highlights include a 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' one-off Christmas episode called 'Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale', while there's also a new panel show from Jimmy Carr called 'The Fix' and a highly addictive looking true crime documentary called 'The Innocent Man'.

Movie highlights include 'The Christmas Chronicles' with Kurt Russell, 'Mowgli : Legend of the Jungle', 'ROMA' directed and written by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón, 'Bird Box' with Sandra Bullock and 'Dumplin'’ with Jennifer Aniston.

We're not sure we ever quite envisioned a world where Kurt Russell would play Santa Claus, but here we all are.

The veteran actor takes on the role in this festive flick which hails from producer Chris Columbus ('Home Alone', 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone', 'Mrs Doubtfire') and director Clay Kaytis ('The Angry Birds Movie). It tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about.
