Irish actor and former 'Love/Hate' star Robert Sheehan has a juicy new role to sink his teeth into as he stars in the upcoming Netflix series 'The Umbrella Academy' alongside Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige and Tom Hopper.
The show is based on the popular Eisner award-winning comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way. It follows the story of 43 babies born on the same day in 1989 to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before.
Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. However this didn't go to plan as in their teenage years, the family fractured and the team disbanded.
Now, the six surviving thirty-something members reunite upon the news of Hargreeves’ passing and work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father's death. However, the estranged family once again begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.
Sheehan is set to play "Number 4" or "Super High", who is described as a lovable mess of a human being and yet, if you ask him, any day now his life is going to turn around. He’s a classic "middle child" - a disarming pleaser who is seemingly everyone’s friend, but will rob you blind without thinking twice.
There he is now:
