Great news for fans of the Netflix series.

'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' just got the green light for sixteen more instalments.

Netflix initially ordered 20 episodes, divided into two seasons, of the show.

Likewise, the 16-episode pickup is split in half for "parts three and four". Production for the back-to-back seasons commences in 2019.

'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' is based on the Archie comics of the same name. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa developed the series, the first season of which debuted on Netflix on October 26, 2018.

A Christmas special for the show called 'A Midwinter's Tale' dropped on the streaming service last weekend.

Part 2 arrives on Netflix on April 5, 2019.

The show follows 'Mad Men' star Kiernan Shipka in the title role as a teenager trying to reconcile out her dual identity as half-witch, half-mortal.

Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson and Gavin Leatherwood also star.

Jedidiah Goodacre and Alexis Denisof join them for the next season. Goodacre plays Dorian Gray while Denisof plays Adam Masters, boyfriend of Mary Wardwall, whose body Madame Satan, right hand of the Dark Lord, took over in the pilot.
