Called 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', it will star Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka in the titular role in what's set to be a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.
So yeah, it's a long way from Melissa Joan Hart's version of Sabrina and tonally it's described as more akin to 'Rosemary’s Baby' and 'The Exorcist'.

According to Netflix: "This adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."
'Riverdale' showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who also serves as chief creative officer of Archie Comics, penned the script for the series which also stars Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch and Michelle Gomez.
'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' arrives on Netflix just in time for Halloween on October 26th.
