'I'm Thinking Of Ending Things' is based on a 2016 novel by Iain Reid. The plot line of the book centres on Jake, who is on a road trip to meet up with his parents on their secluded farm, and he takes his girlfriend (Larson) along with him. However, his girlfriend is thinking of ending their relationship - and this is where it gets a bit messed up.

Jake makes an unexpected detour, which will leave Larson stranded in the middle of nowhere, and "a twisted mix of palpable tension, psychological frailty, and sheer terror ensues." Sounds like our kind of movie.

Larson has finished filming her role as Carol Danvers in the upcoming Marvel Studios outing 'Captain Marvel,' the second trailer of which was just released today.

Although it'll be a thrill to see Larson in another thriller-type movie ('Room' fans, unite), it's the inclusion of director Charlie Kaufman that has us most excited.

It appears to be Kaufman's first directing gig, however he is best known for writing some of your most favourite head-scratching movies. His previous CV includes writing 'Being John Malkovich,' 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind,' and 'Anomalisa,' to name a few.

Kaufman has also written a screenplay for the upcoming 'Chaos Walking' which will star Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland, and Mads Mikkelsen. The 2019 movie is set in "A dystopian world where there are no women and all living creatures can hear each others' thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds, called 'Noise'."

There's been no word yet on other casting choices for 'I'm Thinking Of Ending Things'.
