It's been one of our favourite Netflix comedy series in recent years, but unfortunately it seems that all good things have to end - and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is coming to a close after season 4.

The first six episodes of Season 4 are set to premiere on May 30th, with the latter half of the series coming to Netflix at a later date.

However, as sad as the news may be, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as reports suggest that Netflix are in talks to make a movie that will bring the hit show to a close after the fourth season ends.

Although they have declined to comment on the rumours, Deadline claims that show creators and writers Tina Fey and Robert Carlock would write the script for the movie.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - which follows the fortunes of the titular Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) as she re-adjusts to life in the real world after being held in an underground bunker for years - has undoubtedly been one of Netflix's biggest hits since debuting on the streaming service in 2015, picking up 16 Primetime Emmy Award nominations.

We'll be sad to see it go, but as long as Titus gets a large portion of screen time in the movie, we'll survive.
