Series two will be arriving on our screens this January.

The second series of ITV's 'The Bay' will begin on Virgin Media One tonight. The six-part series continues the story of Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong (Morven Christie from 'The A Word'), as she deals with the fallout of her season one actions.

Adding further drama to her stressful life this time around, Lisa is also being stalked by a mysterious figure who has turned up with an axe to grind.

If you missed the first series last year, you can catch up on the newly-relaunched Virgin Media Player. The first six episodes of season one are available to watch now, with the second season becoming available later tonight.

Here's the trailer for the second series of 'The Bay'.

Since launching last week, the Virgin Media Player has added a number of boxsets that can be watched free of charge. 'The Pembrokeshire Murders' and every episode of 'The Cabins' is available, as well as the likes of catch-up on 'Coronation Street', 'Emmerdale', 'The Masked Singer' and 'Dancing on Ice'.

Be sure to catch up or binge 'The Bay' on the Virgin Media Player, or tune into Virgin Media tonight, Monday, January 25 from 9 pm for the first episode of season two.
