Great news for those of us who have recently premiered our quarantine beards out in civilisation - you might be able to put it to some good use by showing it off on the small screen.

The 'Vikings: Valhalla' extras call has come back around, months after the first round of potential extras turned up to the first open casting call back in March. For those who were unable to make the first Ashford studios casting the first time around, here's how you can get involved once again.

'Vikings: Valhalla' will be a brand new spin-off TV series from the same team that brought us the six-season 'Vikings' drama, set 100 years after the events of the main series. Netflix has secured the rights to the planned spin-off.

Filming in Ireland in the near future, the team are looking for extras from all walks of life, ethnicities, ages, and looks to get involved in being part of the new drama.

A statement from the 'Vikings: Valhalla' extras department reads:

'Vikings: Valhalla' TV Series will be up and running again very soon.  We are now casting for Extras.  Due to the current climate, we will not be running anymore Extras Open Casting days so, for further information and application forms, please email '[email protected]'.  The production will be based in Ireland.  We are inclusive of people from all backgrounds.  If you came to an open casting back in March 2020 in Ashford studios or if you have already sent in your details, no need to do so again.  Please share and, get in contact ASAP and we will be glad to help!

If this sounds like you, then head over to the Vikings Extras Facebook page (by clicking here), or for further information and application forms, you can email the team at [email protected].
