Here's a never-before-seen cold open from 'The US Office'

If there's one thing that 'The US Office' helped to popularise in sitcoms, it's the cold open joke.

You've got at least a good five minutes or so to land a completely self-contained bit, and while the likes of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' may have taken it to dizzying new heights, 'The US Office' helped with some crackers along the way.

This particular cold open, however, was from the very final episode of 'The US Office', but was ultimately cut for time as the episode was already jam-packed as it was. By far, it's the most elaborate of Dwight jokes out there, not to mention the hilarity of seeing Hank the security guard dressed up as Morpheus.

Speaking of which, 'The US Office' is now available on Netflix Ireland and UK from today.
