Kicking things off last night, the track of 2018 was blared out across screens last night to welcome the final of the 'X-Factor'. Track of the year, you say? Must have been 'Havana' by Camilla Cabello, or 'Shotgun' by George Ezra? If only.

Apparently, Simon Cowell's four year old son Eric has signed his new band on his Syco Record Label, under SyKids Records. The record is out now if you want your ears to bleed to death.

In other 'X-Factor' news from last night, the winner was finally crowned of this year's singing competition. It was Dalton who came out on top, with his winning single 'The Power of Love.' James Arthur, who won the 'X-Factor' back in 2012 (which was probably the last time we tuned into the show) performed the duet with 2018's winner.

Other performances on the night included Ellie Goulding singing her new track 'Close to Me,' and Leona Lewis jetting in to sing her Christmas song 'One More Sleep' with runner-up Scarlett. Ricky Wilson from The Kaiser Chiefs also performed a duet of his song 'I Predict a Riot' with third-placed contestant Anthony; while Nile Rodgers and Chic performed a medley of hits that was no doubt lost on the young audience.

However, the big performance of the night was saved for the return of Robbie Williams teaming up with his former bandmates Take That. With the absence of Jason Orange, the four-some took to the stage to the cheers of many a 40-year-old woman in Wembley Stadium.

The reaction on Twitter was better than the performance, to be honest.
