Missing your 'Love Island' fix? Well a new dating series is hoping to take its place.

'The Cabins' will debut tonight on Virgin Media Two. Here's everything you need to know.

The show is said to be based on the "Let Love Rule" format. Twelve single ladies and lads will be searching for their match.

From the moment they meet, the couples immediately move in together, leaving their smartphones behind.

Their date kicks off in one of three cosy log cabins, complete with hot tubs, in some beautiful, remote area in the UK.

The couple then have 24 hours to get to know each other, with sparks either flying, or awkward exchanges dominating.

Each of them then decides whether they want to spend more time together, or walk away.

The contestants on the show include 21 year old architecture student Abraham; 23 year old Mamudo, a footballer and coach; national business development manager Tom; 28 year old Will from London, who works for his family-run electrical company; and bin man Joel from Swansea.

As for the girls, there's Holly, a cabin crew member, as well as a make-up artist and influencer; 26 year old sales executive Robyn; former Walt Disney employee, current local pub/bingo hall Welsh girl Jess; waitress, murder mystery actress, PT and fitness model Sarah; Sofia, a tattoo apprentice, model, and Miss Diamond UK; 22 year old customer service rep Olivia, from Hull; and operations manager Charlotte from Stafford.

The series was filmed in recent months with strict health and safety coronavirus protocols in place - contestants had to isolate at a hotel while awaiting their Covid test results, and any pre-show filming was carried out with minimal crew, who all wore face masks and were regularly temperature checked throughout production.
