'Succession' returns to our screens later this year with season 3 getting its first trailer.

Created by Jesse Armstrong ('Peep Show'), 'Succession' is "a bitingly funny drama following a family dynasty's disintegration when their patriarch refuses to name a successor."

The ensemble cast includes Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kiern Culkin, Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, Alan Ruck, and Hiam Abbass.

Alexander Skarsgård and Adrien Brody will join the cast for season 3.

In the US, the new season will premiere on HBO while in Ireland and the UK, it airs on Sky Atlantic.

In the new episodes of 'Succession', Jeremy Strong's Kendall Roy leads a rebellion against Brian Cox's patriarch Logan Roy.

"He’s our dad, but he was going to send me to jail," he tells his siblings of their ruthless father. "He’d do the same to all of us."

'Succession' premiered in 2018. Its second season won the Emmy award for outstanding drama series.

You can watch the first two seasons on Sky On-Demand and NOW.

Season 3 broadcasts from this autumn.

'Succession' executive producer Georgia Pritchett previously spoke about how she didn't see the series going for longer than five seasons.
