Rob's second and final night of hosting saw him bring on his new footie friend as well as his wife of 14 years.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds never met until after they bought Wrexham AFC, and the moment was captured for their upcoming documentary series on Disney+, 'Welcome to Wrexham'.
Ryan joined Rob on his final night of hosting the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' last night, and the pair discussed everything about their new business venture in Wales. The two Hollywood stars famously bought Wrexham AFC in 2020 and there's a documentary series on its way to Disney+ later this month which will follow the two stars as they get to grips with owning a football team.
It turns out that the pals had never actually met in person until the filming of the series had already begun, after they had bought the football club. The first moment they met was captured for the series and Rob shows the clip during the interview on the last night show.
Ryan admits that he had to reach out to Rob after seeing the season 13 episode of 'It's Always Sunny' whereby Rob's character Mac performs an elaborate dance after coming out to his father, saying it was "one of the most moving things I've ever seen".
And to close off the interview? Ryan recruited Rob's wife Kaitlin Olson for *special* advert that leaves them both feeling a little awkward.
Here's the full interview with the BFFs.
Kaitlin then joined in later on in the show for the couple's "date night" while their kids are home alone. Of course, Rob brought up the commercial from earlier on in the show - but Caitlin got her own back by replaying the clip of the off-side situation once again where her husband embraces his new best friend instead of his wife. Ouch.
During his first night of hosting duties, Rob chatted with Kumail Nanjiani and Charlotte Nicdao while also getting the patrons in his bar in Philadephia a bit pissed from free drinks.
'Welcome to Wrexham' begins on Disney+ on August 25.
