Ahead of his Emmy nomination outcome unfolding before us this weekend, we thought we'd take a look back at when Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones debuted onto our screens.
Way back in April, which seems like a very distant memory by now, 'Normal People' came out of the woodwork and changed everything. It introduced us to Paul Mescal as Connell, a man afraid to show his true emotions; and Daisy Edgar Jones as Marianne, a woman bored of school life and dreaming of a time when she can get away to become her true self.
We all fell in love with the series based on Sally Rooney's novel of the same name, and Lenny Abrahamson and his team did a stellar job of translating the novel into 12 episodes of Irish drama never seen before on screen. And let's not forget the controversy the series caused for poor Joe Duffy on 'Liveline'.
And so, with Mescal being nominated for an Emmy award this weekend, we thought a 'Normal People' quiz would do just the trick about now.
