Hulu's streaming service might be the shining beacon of light for those still shook from the cancellation of Marvel's Netflix shows.

After the close of the 20th Century Fox merger this coming summer, Disney will stand to own about 60% of Hulu. In light of that, the service announced that a number of Marvel animated TV shows are headed to it.

The adult animated series announced are, 'Howard the Duck,' 'M.O.D.O.K.,' 'Hit-Monkey,' and 'Tigra & Dazzler.' All four shows will be produced by Marvel TV, and will culminate in a crossover special called, 'The Offenders.'

Now that the pair's relationship seems to be going from strength to strength, could we possibly see the return of Marvel's Netflix shows? Last year, Netflix famously cancelled three of Marvel's superhero shows from their platform; meaning there wouldn't be a third season of either 'Iron Fist' or 'Luke Cage,' or a fourth 'Daredevil.'

Could 'Daredevil' be revived by Hulu?

Speaking to The Wrap, Hulu's senior Vice President of Originals Craig Erwich said, "Hulu remains open for business with Marvel. [...] That includes any title under the comic book powerhouse."

When asked if he has any interest in bringing back any already axed TV shows, he played coy by saying "Marvel has a ton of titles we’d be interested in. [...] It kind of just depends on when they’re ready, [and] who, most importantly, is going to be behind these things."

From what we've heard previously,  the cast of 'Daredevil' have been quite vocal on coming back for a fourth outing. Charlie Cox, who plays the titular role, said he was "very saddened" when Netflix cancelled the show; while Vincent D'Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk in the series, shared a petition to save the show. The petition has already surpassed 255,000 signatures.

Given that Hulu's Marvel animated venture is still very fresh, time will tell if we'll ever see Marvel's Netflix shows arrive on another platform in the future.

Marvel's final superhero series on Netflix will be the third season of 'Jessica Jones' which arrives later this year.
