Even though the show hasn't even gone on air, the winter edition of 'Love Island' has its second controversy boiling up after Caroline Flack's shock exit over battery charges.
Contestant Ollie Williams is under fire after it was revealed that he is a director in a hunting business called Cornish Sporting Agency, which organises "tailor-made hunting trips to South Africa and other destinations." However, the website has since been closed down.
What's more, images, which have now been deleted, show Williams posing with hunting rifles and dead animals. However, his friends have said this is not necessarily the case. Speaking to Mirror.co.uk, Williams' friends say that he was "involved in the culling of sick animals who were a threat to the health of the herd."
"There is a very big and important difference between trophy hunting and the conversation work Ollie has previously been involved in. At no point has Ollie organised or booked anybody to go to Africa to shoot game."
Currently, a petition to have Williams removed from the show has well over 500 signatures, with the story itself attracting significant attention online. ITV, so far, have released no statement on the matter.
