In spite of several efforts to make 'Love Island' happen this summer - including considering moving to the UK - the word is it's officially cancelled.
The bosses at ITV said the reality series will return in 2021. Kevin Lygo from the network said: "We have tried every which way to make 'Love Island' this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the well-being of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.
"In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Majorca to get the villa ready but clearly that's now out of the question.
"We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and 'Love Island' will be back stronger than ever in 2021."
Lygo also said he felt "uneasy" about airing a show that sees people "slathering over each other" while the rest of the nation is being told to socially distance.
Some have been somewhat celebratory as they've grown to loathe the dating series.
They took to Twitter to let the world know how happy they are at the news.

I'm really confused as to how they can cancel #LoveIsland but reopen schools.

So #loveisland is cancelled for this year, if only someone had thought of doing a reality show in the UK where a bunch of people are trapped inside a house for 3 months. That would do well now...
