A new singing competition TV series kicked off last night and it's already proving a hit.

'Little Mix The Search' debuted on BBC One.

The format sees the titular pop band (including Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock) search for the next global singing sensation.

Whoever they pick gets to tour with them.

Having united on 'X Factor' and dominated the charts, they're drawing from their knowledge of reality TV and the music industry to find fresh talent.

The show is after six groups: a Boy Band, a Girl Dance Group, a Girl Vocal Group, a Mixed Group, a Vocal & Instrument Group and a Rap R&B Group.

Last night saw Little Mix form a boy band.

Viewers at home were loving the singers as well as the show's format.

Check out some of the Twitter reactions here.

The girl band's die-hard fans were of course singing their praises the loudest:

'Little Mix The Search' airs its second episode tonight on BBC One at 6.45 p.m.
