The most irreverent show on television is back for another season, and Eric Andre has roped in some more hapless guests.

For those unfamiliar with 'The Eric Andre Show', imagine what would happen if 'The Late Late Show' was directed by David Lynch.

The show has become a cult favourite online for host Eric Andre's increasingly bizarre and cryptic interviews, and in the past has gotten everyone from Jack Black, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Rogen involved.

Debuting in 2023, season 666 of the show will have stars like Jon Hamm and Natasha Lyonne in the hot seat.

The 'Mad Men' star has a penchant for comedy, guesting on the likes of 'Comedy Bang! Bang', 'Toast Of London' and 'Barry', while Natasha Lyonne has garnered critical acclaim for creating, writing and starring in Netflix hit 'Russian Doll'.

Other guests such as Diplo, Raven-Symoné, Cypress Hill and 'Family Matters' star Jaleel White also slated to appear in the new season.

“Expect more deranged pranks, fire, and chaos in Season 666 with a jam-packed schedule of celebrities I can’t believe agreed to this,” said Andre in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement teased more elaborate street pranks than before, and more interviews that "will leave celebrities contemplating their relationship with their publicists."

Since the first season aired in 2012, the show has developed a reputation as one of the most surreal shows on television.

E4 have the rights to the show on this side of the pond, so keep your eyes peeled someone next year for more patented Eric Andre antics.

In 2020, over 100,000 fans signed a petition calling for the comedian to replace Ellen as the host of her talk show, and the funnyman starred in 2021 comedy 'Bad Trip' and recently made an appearance in the new 'Jackass' film.

The 5th season of the show aired in 2020, which saw Andre shave all of his body hair (apart from his eyebrows) and spent dozens of hours under a tanning bed in order to create "an uncanny valley version of myself."

With the show now in its 6th (or 666th) season, the comedian is showing no signs of slowing down.
