Caroline Flack, the former host of 'Love Island', has died at the age of 40.
Reports indicate that the television personality and host was found dead in her apartment in London earlier today.
The television presenter had recently stepped down from hosting the winter edition of 'Love Island' after she was alleged to have assaulted her boyfriend, Lewis Burton. Flack was due to appear in court next month in connection with the case.
Only yesterday, Burton had attempted to make contact with Flack publicly via Instagram, despite a court order banning the two from contacting one another.
Already, social media has been awash with tributes as more news on the story develops.
RIP Caroline flack. Yes she made some mistakes which were unfortunately in the public eye but she didn’t deserve this😔 all the abuse she received. How many more life’s are going to be taken before people realise it is not ok to treat others this way. These are real people!
