Former SM:TV hosts, who started the gig way back in 1998, will be back on screen together as part of an upcoming sketch for 'Saturday Night Takeaway'.

Ant & Dec and Cat Deeley will be appearing on our screen together for a new sketch planned out for 'Saturday Night Takeaway'. Due to air later this month, the trio will be revisiting a segment that they used to host on SM:TV.

The SM:TV hosts will be playing out a "Chums" segment for the "End of the Show Show", which was based on US sitcom 'Friends'. "Chums" would see Dec and Cat play lovers, while Ant would be all kinds of awkward, and eventually culminated with a wedding scene. A celebrity guest would always be guaranteed to make a cameo appearance too, with big names at the time including Mariah Carey, S Club 7, Westlife, B*Witched and Britney Spears all getting in on the fun over the years.

Cat Deeley will be back with the hosts for one of their 'Undercover' segments for their episode on March 20. According to Radio Times, Ant & Dec will attempt to disguise themselves to prank their former co-host. A spokesperson for ITV said the reunion was: "the perfect opportunity to do the Chums reunion that everyone wants (especially after the SMTV special at Christmas."

Last year, Ant & Dec and Cat Deeley were back together for a documentary of 'The Story of SM:TV' which saw them look back at some of the archives and best highlights from the show.

This weekend's 'Saturday Night Takeaway' will see Lee Mack join the hosts, with Cat Deeley and Romesh Ranganathan appearing the following week.

Here's a '90s throwback for you of the "Chums" segment where S Club 7 joined the hosts.
