The Queen of Irish comedy has laid into the cocktail name which deserves to die a slow and painful death.
On her most recent appearance on 'The Last Leg' with Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe, and Alex Brooker, Kildare native Aisling Bea gave the lads a lowdown on the intricacies that is the ill-named "Irish car bomb" cocktail.
While on the subject of themed cocktails, host Adam Hills treated his guests to some lovely cocktails from around the world. From a Theresa-Maytini, to a Donald Trump creation which you have to shake "while doing an impression of a disabled journalist", they had everything a satirical mind would need.
While being handed one of the questionable cocktails, Aisling Bea joins in on the chat while talking about the Americans who have the "Irish car bomb" cocktail on their menus.
A popular one to knock back on St. Patrick's Day apparently, the travesty cocktail is made up of stout, whiskey, and coffee liquor. The holy Irish trinity of Guinness, Jameson, and Baileys, then.
Making light of the badly named cocktail, Bea then turns her attention to other potential cocktail names which would CERTAINLY rub people up the wrong way.
The comedian quips: "When will we get to the stage where we're like, yeah, can I get - what do you want? - two ISIS's, please.
"And then, oh what does Janine want? Oh yeah, she wants one horror slavery actually.
"And then just an old fashioned Vietnam War if you can."
Let's just say that from personal experience, this cocktail isn't only found in the US. We've spotted this cocktail on the menu of a pub or two over in the UK as well...
Anyway, we'll let Aisling explain the scenario.
