Adele is gearing up for her first public appearance in god knows how long.

With everyone waiting with bated breath for details of her follow-up to '25', the singer is ignoring it all and has decided that Adele on 'SNL' is really what we want instead. It's not true - but we'll take it anyway. This is sure to be a hoot.

The 32-year-old will host the fourth instalment of the TV comedy sketch show, which returned to the studio in September. She'll be joined by musical guest on the night H.E.R.

Could this be a new realm of possibility for the singer, whose only TV appearance - apart from her 'SNL' gig in 2008 - was in 'Ugly Betty'? The singer was snapped reading through her lines ahead of her appearance in the past week.

Adele is here!

Here's the brief preview for the appearance of Adele on 'SNL' this weekend. Joined by comedian Kate McKinnon, musical guest's name H.E.R. causes quite the confusion on set in the first clip - while Adele also gives us her best American impression in the second promotional piece.

Expect more high-jinks and plenty more Trump/Biden/Harris/Pence rivalry when 'Saturday Night Live' returns this weekend. The election is only around the corner, after all.
