The World Cup will get into full swing today after last night's opener between Brazil and Croatia. Every day of the tournament we will bring you all the times and details of that day's matches, check today's ones out below;

Mexico v Cameroon (Kick-off 5.00pm). RTE 2, UTV

Coverage from the Estadio das Dunas in Natal, Brazil, as the nations begin their Group A campaigns with this vital fixture. Neither would be considered favourites to emerge from the group, but a win from either would certainly put them in a good position.

*MOTD*
Spain v Netherlands (Kick-off 8pm) RTE 2, BBC1

The reigning champions against a Dutch team who looked unbeatable in the qualifiers. This will in fact be a rematch of the 2010 World Cup Final, so no doubt the Dutch will be looking to extract some revenge on the all conquering Spaniards.

Chile v Australia (Kick-off 11pm) RTE 2, UTV

Chile, who are a lot of people's dark horses to do well in this tournament, will be looking to lay down the marker against the soccerooos. Tim Cahill will be leading the Aussie resistance but our money's on Chilean lads for this one.
