World Cup 2014 is finally here, can you believe it? Such a pity us lot aren't in it but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the festivities. The opening ceremony kicks off today (7pm) in Brazil and if how they celebrate Carnaval is anything to go by, the Brazilians will have a guaranteed showstopper in store. It will all take place at the Arena de Sao Paulo and will feature Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez performing FIFA's chosen song 'We are One (Ole Ola)'. From our side of things, George Hamilton and Ray Houghton will be commentating while Bill O'Herlihy will be joined by Eamon Dunphy, John Giles and Liam Brady as the tournament gets under way with Brazil taking on Croatia. (Kick-off 9.00pm). Considering it's no secret the Brazilian team won't be happy with anything other than a World Cup win this year, you'd assume Croatia will be no bother to them, but those lads certainly won't be going down without a fight.
