There's only days now to go until one of the biggest sporting events in the world kicks off in Brazil, and this documentary series has been giving us a look at what life is like in its capital city ahead of the arrival of thousands upon thousands of football fans to the country this week. It mainly focuses in on the famous Rio favelas, which are more or less shanty towns that exist around the city. This episode will celebrate the resourcefulness of some of its residents, including Rosie and Marcos who used to work on Rio's landfill, but started a recycling centre when they heard it was going to close. We'll also meet Jorge the sea scavenger who rakes the sand beneath the waves looking for treasures left behind by tourists and rich local residents as well as rising funk star Thamy Delicia who needs to clean up her explicit act if she is going to make it big outside of the favelas.
