Ade Adepitan travels to Rio de Janeiro to join a team of young journalists reporting from inside one of the city's most violent favelas. For the first time in 30 years, Brazil's military have been put in control of Rio's law enforcement. Alongside the police, they are taking on the drug gangs that control the city slums. Getting caught in the crossfire is a now a constant danger to the people who live there and Adepitan talks to victims, families, campaigners and politicians about the impact of the crisis on the ordinary people who live in the favela.
