Journalist Paul Connolly uses secret cameras and aliases to investigate the murky world of identity theft, which millions of people in the UK fall victim to every year and which is one of Britain's fastest-growing crimes. He meets a man who promises to get him the forged paperwork he needs to obtain loans, mortgages and credit cards, and sees for himself how easy it is to con people with a false name. While Paul is offered the chance to rent a passport and tries to leave and then get back into Britain using the illegal papers.
