Mark Pollack was just 22 when he lost his sight but managed to turn this impairment around for himself by becoming the first blind person to race to the South Pole. He went on to meet and marry his wife Simone, however just four weeks after the wedding, an accident left Mark paralysed. Seriously. All of this would be enough to throw anybody into the pits of despair, but not Mark, who has refused to let any disability get in his way to live the life he wants to lead. This documentary, directed by award-winning filmmaker Ross Whitaker, look at the amazing strength and positivity that adventurer, athlete and author Mark Pollock has shown, as well as telling the story of his rehabilitation, his search for groundbreaking cures in the worlds of robotics and science, and of course, his unbreakable spirit.
