Once Anne Doyle stepped down, Aengus Mac Grianna managed to very easily step in as the nations favourite news reader really, didn't he? Or as he might say himself; "What?!" He is stepping out from behind the news desk tonight though, to go on a bit of a ramble around the Irish countryside. He starts off by taking a stroll along the beaches of Carraroe in Co Galway, moves on to taking in Gorumna and Lettermullen, before finishing at the promontory at Golam Head. Obviously no apocalyptic storms when he was doing it! He meets some interesting local characters along the way, including former Olympic boxer Mike Lally. Here's hoping they've thrown in some more classic Aengus bloopers into the mix too - the world needs more of those.
