After the shenanigans of the first film, Andy's toys are living in relative bliss once more. Buzz is still a bit deluded, but for the most part he and Woody are co-alpha toys, and share the responsibilities admirably. But when Woody is nicked by a sleazy toy collector, Buzz and the rest of the gang venture into the outside world to rescue their mate. Meanwhile, Woody meets two new toys also in captivity; one he fancies, the other a slightly unhinged older toy. To some, Toy Story 2 is one of the rare occasions where the groundbreaking original is surpassed by its follow up. While that might not be strictly true, it is still a hugely enjoyable experience that serves to expand on the warmth and genuine brilliance of the classic original. Featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and Kelsey Grammer. The good news is that it doesn't include the news. But it does include the Lotto.
