Those of you that have seen the compelling performance of Elizabeth Moss in The Handmaid's Tale recently will no doubt want to see the former Mad Men star in the second season of the critically acclaimed Top of the Lake. Written by Oscar winner Jane Campion, it's first outing was back in 2013 when Detective Robin Griffin (Moss) was brought into a case in a remote mountain town in New Zealand. For this season, she is back in Sydney, investigating a new case when the body of a young woman washes up on Bondi Beach while also trying to build a relationship with the daughter she gave up for adoption. This time around, Robin has a new partner called Miranda, played by Game of Thrones Gwendoline Christie (Brienne!) and even Nicole Kidman stars as the adoptive mother to Robin's daughter.
