Comedian Des Bishop is back on the telly to satirise Irish and global politics, because let’s be honest, they tend to be a bit of a joke anyway. The four-part series is filmed in front of a live audience, and aims to demystify politics in smart and original ways that break complicated ideas down and make them accessible. Maybe we’ll get something like The Big Short. In episode one, Des tackles gluten and hipster allergies, and analyses what’s wrong with our political system. Rubberbandit’s Blindboy Boatclub and Andrew Maxwell also report on the state of the world.
