This series looks at Ireland’s overseas embassies as they work to advance Irish culture, interests and values. In this episode, we meet three important individuals in this line of work - Ambassador Sinead Walsh in Sierra Leone, ambassador to the UK, Dan Mulhall, and Ambassador David Donohue at the UN in New York. In Sierra Leone, Ireland has earned huge respect for working with the government during the deadly Ebola pandemic. In London, Ambassador Mulhall and his team deal with the Brexit fallout and passport demands. At the UN, Ambassador Donohue talks about Ireland’s work in aid of the crisis in Syria.
