The Irish Super Vet returns for another series tonight. Noel Fitzpatrick, nicknamed the 'Bionic Vet', has set up a pioneering vetting practice in Britain where a team of more than 100 help some of the Britain's hardest-to-cure pets through cutting-edge treatment and operations. Tonight, his first patient is labradoodle Mitzi who has been hit by a car, with Noel fearing she may have suffered nerve damage, leaving her owners fearing the worst. There's also 10-month-old German pointer Hector, who is struggling to walk and needs to have spinal surgery or face the prospect of being put to sleep, while a Leonberger with a cancerous leg undergoes an operation to remove the tumour.
