Last month saw the first of these Vincent Browne debates, whereby the public are brought in to air their views on a prevalent issue in Ireland. In the previous debate, there was a massive reaction to the topic of whether the government deserves the support of the people, and this month's topic is sure to provoke the same. The motion for discussion tonight is 'The liberation of women in Ireland has yet to be accomplished'. It may all seem fine and dandy for gender equality in Irish society today but many would argue we haven't come far enough. Many others might say it's no longer even an issue in the first place, whatever your view, no doubt this one is going to get very heated.
