This gripping new fly-on-the-wall series continues as Community and Public Health Nurses across Ireland help their patients cope with cancer, multiple sclerosis, amputation and electrocution. In this second episode, Nurse Kathleen Gilheaney in Swanlinbar. Co. Cavan is literally snowed under, treating an elderly diabetic who is at risk of losing a toe due to the bitterly cold weather. Kathleen is also tending to new mother Caroline who had to undergo cancer surgery while she was pregnant with baby Fearn and which may now lead to further complications. Meanwhile, on Inishbofin, hours from the nearest hospital, Nurse Mary Walsh can't afford to take any risks with an electrocution victim.
