If you're in no mood for the Nolans dancing their shiny pants off this evening, you are - quite frankly - buggered; it's on UTV and TV3. In the 1970s, the Nolan Sisters, later the Nolans, were the most popular all-woman act in Britain - best remembered for their number three hit I'm in the Mood for Dancing. The sisters went on to various individual success - most notably Coleen as one of the Loose Women and Bernie's roles in Brookside and The Bill - but in June they announced they were re-forming for a new 30th anniversary tour. This documentary recalls their childhood, follows their career from working men's club gigs to selling 25 million albums and singing with Frank Sinatra, and looks at their comeback. There are also contributions from celebrity fans including Cliff Richard... As if that wasn't enough oestrogen of an evening, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason follows on UTV at 9.00pm.
