Singer-songwriter and charity campaigner Ronan Keating talks about the events which have shaped his life and beliefs with Gay Byrne. In the interview he affirms that he bears no grudges, (and that includes Louis Walsh). If he had, Boyzone would have been unable to reform and enjoy any of their recent success, 'n all dat. He also talks movingly about the experience of watching his mother die from cancer, how this tested his faith and how he came to move on from this position determined to make a real difference with regard to cancer awareness. A very strong family man, he talks candidly about a turbulent relationship with his father and what it means to him to be a dad. Having been raised as Catholic, Ronan shares his position on this now and recalls what it was like to meet the Pope.
