Gay Byrne is back for a new series of The Meaning of Life and he kicks things off tonight with the last man left standing from The Dubliners, 77-year-old John Sheahan. He talks to Gay about his life and the events that have shaped his spiritual beliefs, and of course, gives his answer to that now famous 'pearly gates' question. Also in this series, Gay will be chatting to Garry Hynes, Andre Rieu, Joanne O Riordan, Shaykh Umar al Qadri, Archbishop Charles Brown and Papal Nuncio.
