In honour of Spike Milligan's lifetime achievement award at the British Comedy Awards, this is 'another chance to see' this programme recorded during the BBC Anniversary Celebrations in 1972, when a special edition of The Goon Show took place before a distinguished audience at the Camden Theatre. Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and Spike Milligan reunited to perform an edition of radio's famous comedy as part of the celebrations for the Beeb's 50th anniversary. The show was recorded at London's Camden Theatre, with music by Ray Ellington and His Quartet, Max Geldray and the original members of the Wally Stott Orchestra, conducted by Peter Knight. The announcer is Andrew Timothy.
