This multi-Academy Award winning movie stars Colin Firth as King George VI - a man who suffered terribly with a stutter from a young age who is unexpectedly put on the throne after his brother King Edward VIII abdicated. In the dawn of an age where Royalty were expected to communicate to their public via radio speeches, the King is faced with an impossible task. That is until his wife (played by Helena Bonham Carter) suggests the services of eccentric speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush) who must help him become the strong King the country needs at the outbreak of World Word II. Outstanding performances by all, and you'll nearly be up off your seats clapping by the end.
